An 18” lightweight contour barrel chambered in 5.56 precision machined from 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium steel with a Salt Bath Nitride (Melonite) Finish. 1 in 7 twist with a 1/2x28 muzzle thread. 18" rifle length gas barrel system with a .750” gas block diameter. An excellent choice for 3 gun barrel competition. Lightweight, accurate, and low recoil. Made in the USA with a lifetime warranty.

This barrel is made from 4150 chrome moly vanadium steel, which is a higher grade than the standard steel used on most barrels in this price range. (chrome moly is NOT chrome moly vanadium!) It is chambered in 5.56 and is extremely accurate, achieving sub-moa shot groups. This match 556 barrel would make an excellent choice for match shooting, 3-gun competition, or varmint/hog hunting with it's extremely light weight profile, 1:7 twist, and rifle-length gas system. This translates to the ability to maneuver easily, accurately shoot heavy grain match-grade or hunting rounds, and have a lighter recoil for quicker follow-up shots. She eats 75 grain bullets like candy and will shoot sub-moa if you can.

We've secured an agreement with a large US barrel manufacturer who makes these for one of the biggest rifle names out there. We are tagging onto the end of their production runs to bring you a name-brand barrel at a great price with free shipping!

We use this match 556 barrel in our own production (and personal) builds that we sell with a lifetime warranty. With proper maintenance and care, you will get a lifetime of use out of this barrel. The Vanadium steel with a nitride finish will shoot tens of thousands of rounds- more than most people would ever put through it!
